Pictured above is the two volume set of books on the Thomas Franklin Napier family of Wayne County, WV. After eight years of labor in researching this family, the book has been completed and published.

This set of books contains 1600 pages, 800 pages per each volume. The books are 8 1/2 X 11 inches in size and each is approximately two inches thick. The books weigh about five pounds each.

There is documented within this set of books over 19,500 direct blood descendants of Thomas Franklin Napier and his wife Haney (Smith) Napier. Add to these their spouses and in-laws, and you have in excess of 50,000 persons listed. The books are fully indexed, which makes it very easy to locate any person listed.

Also contained within the books are about 200 photographs, including one of Haney (Smith) Napier who was born in the 1780's.

This set of books will make a fine Christmas present for anyone interested in their family history. You may pick the books up at the residence of Howard Osburn in Wayne, or at the Genealogy Society Building in Wayne. The building is open each Thursday afternoon. You may order the books by sending your check, made to WCGHS, in the amount of $100.00 for the two volume set, and an additional $10 for postage.
