The wcghs meets the second thursday of each month at 7 pm at the wayne county genealogical & historical society building,
located at 210 keyser street, in wayne, west virginia. Special quarterly meetings are held in lieu of the regular meetings.
These are luncheon meetings, held at noon on the third saturday in the months of march, june, september and december. These
are held in the following locations in wayne county: fort gay, ceredo-kenova, crum and Wayne.
The Wayne County Genealogical And Historical Society Newsletter will be published quarterly in September, December, March and June. Material for use in the publication will be greatly appreciated. Send all material to the attention of the newsletter committee with a cover letter containing permission to publish. Material should be received by the first of the month preceding the month of publication. Pictures will be returned if so requested and a return envelope is supplied by the sender. All members need to submit their family chart in either ancestral of ahnentafel format. Material intended for use in the publication will become the property of the Society. It will require the help and support of the membership to produce and publish an informative newsletter. Please help by sending in your contributions.
